Bob,
I've read Chickenhawk 5 times from cover to cover. Just wanted to let you know that I'm starting my sixth reading. Chickenhawk is one of the best written books I've ever read. I can envision the missions as I read about them. Thank you for sharing with us. Wishing you the best.

Terry

Bob,
I read your book years ago while flying helos in the Navy, and I learned some things not taught in flight school that made me a better, safer pilot. I've just reread your book and I'm going to give a copy (not mine though) to a young officer heading to Army Aviation School. God Bless You!

Thanks for a real life version of the hell of Vietnam - it gives me better insight into my husband's two tours there - 68-69; 69-70.
I admire you and anyone else that could survive all that and still remain fairly normal!
Peace to you and your family.

Thank you Mr. Mason for, well everything really.

I stole chicken hawk off my dad when I was 15 and read it twice before he noticed it was missing from his bedside cabnet. at 17 It was the book that made me join the RAF and also the book that helped me leave 5 years later. I have lent my copy to so many people to read that I'm sure that any time at least 1 of the 4 copy's I own are being read by myself or someone I know somewhere in the world.

Dear Mr Mason

I started reading your book 'Chickenhawk' yesterday and couldn't put it down until I had finished it today!

The personal sacrifice that you and your Colleagues made cannot be expressed enough.
I hope you have overcome your Demons and have found peace within.
A BOOK WELL WRITTEN

Hi Robert,

I am reading Chickenhawk yet again, it's been my favourite book since I first read it twenty years ago. Always thought it would make a great movie.

Mister Mason, I use to talk to you online but lost contact over the years. I still to this day wonder if I ever rode in your slick. Many of the things in Chickenhawk reawakened my mind that I had blocked out. Some I laugh about some I cry. Anyway welcome home bro we made it.
